Disney Challenge- The Reluctant Dragon

So maybe I have lived my life under a rock but I have never heard of the film "The Reluctant Dragon". Should I? Is it any good? Needless to say I had no idea what to do for this challenge.

So this is what I came up with:

My inspiration for this was this picture:

I used an untried Brazilian polish for the base of this manicure,  Elke in Number 46 Aqua. I will show you this polish again later in it's own because it is STUNNING. It is more of a turquoise if i am completely honest with a gorgeous golden shimmer. This polish applied like a dream and was opaque in one coat. I wish all polish could be so easy to work with. I then stamped Barry M Gold Foil on top using MASH plate 16 to create dragon scales. This is my first time stamping so don't be too critical, the good thing with this plate is that the smudges and mistakes of the stamping just seem to look like more abstract scales!! Stamping is defiantly on my bucket list of things to master.

Have you heard of this film? Even trusty Wikipedia doesn't have much to say about it.

Here is a list of the other ladies taking part with me in this challenge:

Ana Cris

Lansy Hairath

Marta Martiti

Becky Torres

La NiƱa Topo

Kerrie (thats me!)
