The Digit-al Dozen does Art: Day Three (and 31DC Black & White): Banksy Nails

So this post should have gone up yesterday but I ended up getting sucked into ZombieU more than anticipated. So today I am bringing you yesterdays post which is both another art manicure but also part of the the 31 Day Challenge which today is Black and White nails.

So this is inspired by Banksy's iconic 'Girl With Balloons' picture. Honestly I like what Banksy is going for with his work, I agree with his messages but I feel that he is starting to try to hard. That Simpsons opening he did was a bit pretentious if you ask me. But I digress.

So this is two coats of Barry M Matte white with Seche Vite over them. (I really need to invest in a better white polish, suggestions?) I then freehanded the balloon with a dotting tool and Barry M Red and Black. The little girl I cannot take credit for, she is a nail decal I bought off ebay in a set a few weeks back.

I really like how simple this is and how faithful it is to the original picture. Please don't forget to check out the other wonderful Art manicures created by the Digit-al Dozen and the rest of the 31 Day Challenges Black and White nails, there is some great stuff there!

I will be back later today with the TODAYS installment of each of these challenges so stay tuned!
