Born Pretty Nail Art Studs Review

Over the last week or so you have seen some manicures featuring some studs I got from The Born Pretty Store to review. Today I am going to show you the last of the manicures I created with these (for now, i'll be using them again they are so versatile!)

The set of studs I received has a mix of yellow gold, gold, black and silver studs in a variety of different shapes. There are squares, small 'o' shapes, a few different sized circle studs and also some larger hearts and stars. They came in a nifty round plastic box to keep them all separated and safe.

After a quick look at the different studs I noticed straight away that the stars and hearts would probably be a bit big to wear on my nails as my nails are so small in both length and width. However this doesn't bother me as there are loads of designs I can create with all the other studs that came in this kit.

This manicure uses two coats of Nails Inc Berkeley Street, which has a more greenish teal undertone than my camera wanted to pick up. My boyfriend says that this studded design looks tribal and I have to agree, I really like those circle studs they are really interesting!

To apply the studs to my nails I simply worked on one nail at a time; topcoat, then I placed my studs (using a dotting tool and a tiny dab of topcoat on the end) and repeat. I added a final layer of topcoat on top of all my nails to steal the studs in place.  The studs lay flat on my nail and didn't snag on anything and lasted two days before starting coming off.

Here is a quick collage of all the designs that I have created with these studs. You can be as creative as you want with these! I loved using them for my bees wings! There are just loads of possibilities with them!

Remember you can get all your nail art products as Born Pretty- they stock so much! You can get the studs here. If you are planning to order form Born Pretty don't forget you can 10% off your order with the code "BA5X31" which is also on my blog sidebar.

The inclusion of this graphic means that the product above was sent to me for review. All opinions are honest and all information is correct at the time of writing.

  1. Love the bee manicure. So cute and original.

I'd catch those little buggers on anything and everything including my son - so I'd steer clear of those. I'd try the rest tho'

  4. I didn't realise it was studs you'd used for the wings - very clever! Looks like you get a great mix of shapes :)
