Beauty Review: W7 Mega Matte Lips Shade 4, Swatch and Review

Today I am going to show you one of my recent purchases and makeup obsessions. As you know I am a major lover of matte lipstick so it didn't take me long to research that the W7 Mega Matte Lips lipstick/ gloss hybrids were supposed to be great (and cheap!)

I picked up a couple of different shades but today I am showing you Shade Four as it is not normally a shade I would instant gravitate towards. The Mega Matte Lips range comes in a standard lip gloss style packaging with a matte black lid. Annoyingly there is no shade name or number on the tube, I bought mine off ebay and this is the shade name they gave it on there. It is a red-y coral tone that is quite interesting and honestly I wasn't sure if I would be able to pull off.

It comes with a doe foot applicator which is quite precise to use. The product is actually more like a thick cream but not too thick that it is hard to apply and is lightly scented with vanilla. You only need a small amount of product to cover the lips meaning that each tube will give you quite a few applications. The cream dries quickly to a matte finish and isn't at all drying on the lips.

So here is a lip swatch for you all:

My lips are quite pigmented anyway but this gives a nice pop of coral, I like to pair this gloss with my navy faux-sailor dress for a kind of retro vibe. For the super cheap price that you seem to be able to find these I would highly recommend grabbing some.

Do you like matte lips or are you more into something a bit glossier?
