The Digit-al Dozen does it again: Blue

It's been a year since the Digit-al Dozen first starting doing it's weekly challenges and to celebrate this we are doing 12 days of nails are featuring all our past themes. The first theme we ever did was 'Blue'. I decided that not any blue polish would do for this special occasion so decide to make my own (with my very limited glitter supply).

 

This is one coat of my franken baby 'Livin' On A Prayer' (yes this is a long over-due Jovi  reference) over W7 Black. I am quite happy with how it turned out and it is very striking over the black.

I then decided to mattify and add some nail art on top. I actually used acrylic paint for this and it is my first time using it. I like how easy it was to worth with and I need to get some more so I can have another go at this.
