J is for Liquid Sky Lacquer Jellybeans

Today I have the next letter in the alphabet challenge. The letter 'J' doesn't pop up as much in my polish stash but I do have this untried polish from Liquid Sky Lacquer  so I thought this was a perfect excuse to try it.

Jellybeans isn't normally the type of polish I would go for as orange seems to clash alot with the yellow tones in my skin but when I saw this mini bottle for sale I thought I might as well try it. Jellybeans is a neon pastel orangey-peachy creme filled with pink, yellow and red glitter.

My photos show three coats. This polish verges on the sheer side and is still a little streaky and I still have VNL in the light, I think one more coat would have helped. I also found this polish a little clunky. A coat of Seche Vite really helped transform this polish and make it look much smoother and more glossy. However putting that aside it is a really pretty and unusual colour combination and is perfect as a summer polish!

You can find the rest of the manicures done as part of this challenge (by some fab British Bloggers ) over at The Hub!

  1. That's a nice peachy orange!

  2. This is a really pretty polish! It's not something that I would normally gravitate towards but I like the base color!
