The Digit-al Dozen does things that comes in pairs: For Every Twit there is a Twoo

The Digit-al Dozen is celebrating two years of being amazing. There is a giant Giveaway and this week we are doing nail art based on the number two!

Today we are doing art based on things that comes in pairs. I know that technically owls are solitary but as I found out recently the Twit-Twoo of a owl is actually a call and a reply, and that is what I have based my design on.

The base of this manicure is Barry M Gelly Blueberry, I have then used these super cute nail art decals from The Born Pretty Store (called Nail Art Water Decals Transfer Stickers Cute Animal Owl Elephant Pattern Sticker BOP125/124 and item number # 15559 if you wanted to search manually).

My 'trees' were done using Zoya, Trxie, Mitzi and Veruschka and several sizes of dotting tool, I simply overlaid my dots to create a tree-like pattern.

Here you can see the full range of designs that you get on the decal sheet, annoyingly I forgot to photograph this before I cut out the designs I wanted.  I like the fact you get a range of sized decals so even for smaller nubbins like mine you can still get decals that fit well.

I found these decals also very easy to use, simply snip them and place them in water for 30 seconds until the decal slides from the backing. All you do then is position it on the nail and topcoat to make sure it is full adhered to the nail.I used Seche Vite.

Arn't these owls so cute! If you are a fan of owls I would highly recommend these decals!

You can see what the other members of the Digit-al Dozen are doing by following the thumblinks below.

Remember you can get all your nail art products as Born Pretty- they stock so much! and if you are planning to order  don't forget you can get 10% off your order with the code "BA5X31" which is also on my blog sidebar.

The inclusion of this graphic means that the product above was sent to me for review. All opinions are honest and all information is correct at the time of writing.
