The next letter in the Alphabet Challenge is 'W' and chose another untried polish for this prompt. When Stars Collide is from the same China Glaze Holographic collection as Astro-Hot which I used way back at the start of this challenge.
When starts collide is a maroon leaning plum with some brown undertones with a scattered holographic finish. This polish was quite opaque and only needed two coats. It dried to a semi-matte satin finish so I applied a coat of Seche Vite to get a nice glossy finish.
My photos are taken with a flash as I am without a daylight bulb at the moment and I wanted you to see the holographic sparkle. Without flash this polish is a shade darker and less evidently purple and the holographic finish is of course less pronounced.
This is quite a vampy, Autumnal shade and perfect for catching the last rays of dying sun before winter comes.
Anyway you can find the rest of the manicures done as part of this Alphabet challenge (by some fab British Bloggers ) over at The Hub! Go check 'em all out!
