OMG Nail Strips Review

I was lucky enough to be offered the chance to review some nail wraps from OMG Nail Stripes. I have had mixed success with wraps in the past so was interested to see how this brand fared against the others I have tried.

I chose these blue zebra print design as on smaller nails I perfer a overall pattern as opposed to an image (as these normally are designed for longer nails and the image is normally cut off on my nubbins as there isn't enough space!).

The wraps come packaged in a clear cellophane sleeve, there are 14 wraps in total in a variety of sizes (unsurprisingly I needed to use the the wraps from the smaller end of the spectrum). There are also clear instructions on how to use the wraps.

Even the smaller wraps were a little on the wide side so I trimmed them down using some nail scissors until the were the right size for my nails. You simply take the wraps off of the backing and carefully apply them long your cuticle line and press the wraps down slowly, taking care to advoid creasing or air bubbles.

I was very surprised by how easily these applied to my nail.  Unlike lots of wraps the material these are made from is quite thin and so sits nice and flat on the nail bed and once on you aren't really aware you are wearing them.

I know that some bloggers have said they have topcoated their wraps but I decided not to do this and see how long they lasted just wearing the virgin wrap, I was shocked to see that these lasted for a good three to four days without any signs of wear (and then it was only slight tip-wear)  even though I work a pretty hands-on job!

I love the design of these! It is really fun and eye catching!

You can get OMG nail strips here and each set costs $7.99 (about £5!) and they ship internationally. They stock over 100 different designs including seasonal ones!

In all I am very impressed with these wraps, they are long lasting and durable and the amount of different designs is really great!

  1. Some fun designs these are. I'm not a fan of nail strips myself but they look good on you.
