I am not a negative person but every now and again you get a beauty product that you don't like (or in this case just doesn't work!) Today's post is about Spotless' Pore Strips which I think is a Wilko's own brand. I am normally a big supporter of Wilko for cheap beauty alternatives but for me these products just did nothing for me! (Let me also say I use a few things in the Spotless range and for the price they are really good, this is the only product I have taken issue with.)
I picked these Nose Pore Strips up from Wilko for a pound so I shouldn't really be dissapointed, I didn't want to spend £7.99 for the Bioré ones from Boots. The box comes with a pack of six strips which when used are supposed to help unclog pores and remove blackheads. They contains witch hazel as well which is a great ingredient for calming spots.
The instructions are easily to follow, but when I used these I found no discernible difference in my skin. Grossly when you use these kind of strips you can normally see what they have 'pulled out' or 'de-clogged' but there was nothing on these strips at all. I am not sure if they are just not sticky enough to work or what but they are very disappointing.
These really aren't a sucky product- just one that doesn't work! I would save your pound coins and give this product a miss!
